We provide 24/7 wrap around care to adults living in the community with a range of disabilities.

Care-Coach

  • Hourly rate (btw $26.16 - $28.25, min Level 3 qualification required)

  • Min 30 hours

  • Various (North Shore Only), North Shore City,Auckland, New Zealand

  • Full-time, Permanent

We require additional employees to support our current team of approximately 110 Care and Support Workers.   

We are looking for individuals that love being around people, are energetic and have great initiative.  However, you will also know when standard policy and procedures must be followed. 

Our ideal candidate will have a big heart and experience in the wider disability or care sectors.  A full and current drivers license is desireed.

As a Care Coach you will support those living with physical and/or intellectual disabilities to prepare and eat meals, plan their day and provide support with their weekly shopping.  You will support/provide them with personal cares.  You will accompany them on outings to the movies, the beach, the gym or to visit family or friends.  You will ultimately support them to live life, their way.  

You will be a part of a paid internal professional development programme.

You need to be flexible and reliable and you need to be able to work rotating/various shifts. You will be able and willing to work awake night shifts, sleepover shifts, week days or weekend.

  • Are provided with care that encourages and facilitates their inclusion in their family / whanau and wider community.

  • Are always assisted to work through and solve social, emotional and financial problems or issues and have their questions answered

  • Know that all identified risks and risk management strategies and plans are understood, and that these are adhered to, keeping them safe

  • Feel a genuine sense of community and love being part of Creative Abilities.

Senior Care-Coach

  • Hourly rate (btw $29.50 - $30.25, min Level 3 qualification required)

  • Min 30 hours

  • Various (North Shore Only), North Shore City, Auckland, New Zealand

  • Full-time, Permanent

As a Senior Care Coach you will be highly capable and confident in the role of Care-Coach. In addition, you love to coach and mentor those around you and are confident giving both positive feedback but also having difficult conversations.

You will role model and work with our leadership team to ensure our team are implementing our values, policies and procedures every time they are at work.

You will take a active role in building and supporting strong relationships with the people we support and their whanau ensuring we are meeting their expectations.

Your verbal and written communication will be strong.
